Que Viva La Fiesta!!

Yesssssssssssir.... its that time of year again.  If your from Santa Fe then there is no need for explaination... if your not:

Imagine all your worries, negativity, and bad luck being presented to you in the form of a 40 foot flammable puppet... and someone handing you a match...

what would you do?

Well, every year in Santa Fe we burn him down!!

Then, we get really drunk and act a fool... while trying to remember in the bowels of our minds that fiestas  commemorates Don Diego De Vargas' "peaceful" reoccupation of the City of Holy Faith in 1692 in which Santa Fe has gracefully celebrated for 296 years!!

Usually we do a Zozobra show... but this year we actually have too much bad luck, negativity, and worries built up (< not serious)... SO, were gonna burn him down in stead!! 

BUT!!

on the following day, this FRIDAY Sepember 5th 2008... La Junta will be at WilLees Blues bar in celebration of the celebration of celebrating fiestas de Santa Fe!!

SO.  Get your but over there!!  9pm  $5.....
